As we enjoy our winter season at ASJM of Marches, grade 7 is busy learning, maturing, and developing friendships.
- We are currently reading and enjoying Flowers for Algernon and Heroes of 9/11 as we learn about those who gave it all to rescue the victims of the 9/11/2001 attacks on the World Trade Center, and The Pentagon.
- We are learning how to use percentages ratios and fractions to solve word problems related to real life situations. We are also reviewing to prepare for our Midterms.
- We are having regular meetings of our class government to appropriately solve issues and improve our student developed class social contract.
- We are combining our Physical Education skills with our writing and speaking skills to create demonstrations and presentations of sports that we are interested and expert in. Some of the sport activities we are covering include: Taekwondo, Skiing , Soccer, Basketball and Volleyball.
- We are getting assistance in our basic academic skills and physical development through our ALP ( Afterschool Learning Program).
