Mrs. McCluney's 8th Grade Classroom!

Welcome to ASJM 8th Grade Homeroom, Middle School Mathematics and 8th Grade Religion. I am Mrs. Mc Cluney and I have been teaching for over three decades. I have a BA degree in Elementary Education and a BA degree in Psychology. I have also successfully completed the Praxis Exam in Middle School Mathematics thereby achieving highly qualified status in Middle School Mathematics. I am so excited to be sharing this journey of faith and learning with you!

What an exciting year it will be! Please remember that any 8th grade privileges are based upon your academic and behavioral performance in the classroom. I am confident that you will conduct yourselves as mature young men and women who are preparing both academically and spiritually for the next step of your academic journey. Always set an example!

This is a very important year for 7th grade Math students as this year's report card will be the report card the high schools will receive when applying in November of next year. Always use that knowledge to guide the amount of effort exhibited in all assignments.

Welcome to my first year Math students aka the 6th grade. Oh the places we will go this year. In my classroom, we learn by participating and making mistakes. Remember, Math is fun and Math is easy!

I am an avid football fan. It is my goal to visit all the NFL stadiums. J-E-T-S, Jets, Jets, Jets!

It is my hope as we journey to strengthen our faith that my students also develop the passion for math that I have. Math is easy! Math is fun!

Homework assignments and important messages can be found on Google Classroom to be accessed by the student. Parents can easily track homework assignments by using their child's login credentials.
