The Advisory Council is advisory to the administration and supportive to the school’s mission, through the formulation of policy guidelines to enhance the direction and growth of the school. The consultative nature of the Council is consistent with the nature and function of other advisory structures within the diocese.  Consequently, the role of the council supports the executive, legislative, and judicial authority of the Bishop as expressed in the Code of Canon Law. The Council provides an effective vehicle for many persons to participate meaningfully in the educational mission of the Catholic school.
